Accordingly, out of the other ambitious plans, government has made claim that it has already made a master plan for the generation of 10,000MW electricity. Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Mr. Top Bahadur Rayamajhi said they have planned to generate electricity of from different three major ways. We shall be able to generate 10,000MW electricity; and we can export electricity instead of importing it by then. "
Nowadays, there is 745MW of electricity in rainy season and just 310MW in winter season; however, there is demand of about 1400MW electricity, according to the government itself. Though the government claim is hopeful, the hurdle due to different political and non-political reasons in the construction of the electricity generating projects have not been stopped yet.
In such a condition, how can government materialize the concepts of such a hopeful projects and plans? Deputy PM and Energy Minister Mr. Rayamajhi says, "In case of any hurdle in the generation of electricity, we shall use the power tcontrol them at an eleventh hour. And, it is also a point in the Awadharana Patra."
According to the government passed Awadharana Patra, there will be formation of Urja Sankat Niwaran Aayog with the members of Energy, Home, Finance and Forest Ministers Under the coordination of the Prime Minister.
Under the Energy Minister's leadership, Kendriya Urja Samanwaya Samitee (Central Energy Coordination Committee) will be formed. Accordingly, under the leadership of Chief District Officer, such committees are formed in the local levels. And, these committees will solve the problems arisen against the project in any level.
